Arts on stage

Pure product of the Mougins music school, Pastel Revolt is a sympathetic intergenerational band from the French Riviera, which takes us deeper and deeper into their eclectic world throughout their performances. Brigitte, Måneskin, Sinclair, Daho, Keane, Luciani...

Under the radar just two years ago, they are now starting to make their mark in the Côte d’Azur summer festivals. Grasse Champêtre, Faîtes de la Musique, Les Guinguettes du Fort Carré, Scène 55 piano bar… Their devoted audience is always there, and the community is growing with every concert.

There are eight of them. Frank on drums. Jérémy on bass. Charlotte and Dominique on vocals. Tess and Anna on keyboards. Roelof on guitar. Nico, the band’s shrewd orchestrator, both in terms of musical repertoire and overall coordination. If he isn’t taking his 10% yet, it should not wait too long.

What binds them is their love of sharing, their love of music and their love of family. They have set a distinctive rhythm, oscillating between funk, pop and (hard & not hard) rock. Contacts are exchanged from gig to gig over a couple of sangrias and a platter of tapas, and they’re already going global. Let’s note for posterity that it was in Alassio, on the Italian Riviera, that their world tour began.

Spread the word… Unicorns do exist. At least the pastel ones.
