Second of four boys, I was introduced to artistic disciplines at an early age by my mother - a potter, a modeler and a designer - and my father - a painter and an architect. I studied science and engineering in Lille. At that time, I was already interested in AI (already), neuroscience, expert systems and advanced computer languages. After 2 years in London where I worked as an IT specialist for the manufacturer Renault UK, I became an expert in cybersecurity and telecommunications for the Thomson group (now Thalès) in Paris. I then became a ‘product manager’ and started to work in the emerging field of telecommunications and security for French, American and Israeli technology companies.
I moved to Sophia Antipolis technology park in 1997 and participated in the rise of the Internet. I held the position of European marketing director and official spokesperson for the startup Allot Communications, a firm part of the NASDAQ in 2006. In 2008, I created my own consulting company in the telecommunication sector and security and I have activities in the yachting sector.
I have been writing for SophiaMag since 2016, particularly on AI and neuroscience, biotech and digital health, new mobility and the energy transition. I am currently working on my first novel.
